Possibly being assisted on individual projects by other engineers/scientists and technicians. A successful CDM candidate will have: B.S. in water resources/environmental/civil engineering. M.S. preferred. At least 12 to 15 years of experience since B. S. Registration as P.E. (for engineering positions). Skill in persuasion and in the negotiation of critical issues. Recognition as a strategic planning champion, cost performance center manager, and professional society leader. Recognition as a leader and authority in CDM in a broad area of specialization or in a narrow but intensely specialized field. The candidate should have flood control and drainage experience. The candidate is required to demonstrate experience in hydrologic/hydraulic modeling, floodplain studies, river engineering, and design of hydraulic structures. The candidate will be involved in projects, including hydrologic/hydraulic studies, drainage master plans, sediment transport analysis, and flood control design.
