CDM has an immediate opening in its Walnut Creek, CA office for a Water Resources Engineer 5!

Typical responsibilities may include water resources planning, modeling and permitting, water supply and demand analysis, water system planning and analysis, water quality analysis and modeling, hydraulic/hydrologic modeling and related areas. All candidates should have excellent writing skills and the ability to document modeling study results in technical reports. This position will require periodic contact with client staff and assistance with project management activities. All candidates should have the ability to prepare and assist with technical presentations and briefings.

Requirements: Ideal candidate will have M.S. in environmental, civil, or water resources engineering, with a strong background/interest in distribution/collection systems planning, water resources, and modeling.

Experience: Position requires 7 to 10 years of relevant experience with a engineering consulting firm and California P.E. Prefer candidates with Project Management and/or Task Management experience.

Computer skills: Microsoft Word and Excel. ArcView, ArcGIS, ACAD and hydraulic modeling (H20Net) software experience strongly preferred.
