Qualifications: Five years mechanical or construction experience. Experience with pumps and pump systems will be helpful. Valid Massachusetts driver license is required.

Duties: Primarily responsible for participating in the maintenance, repair and replacement of machinery and equipment (excluding motor vehicles).
Acts as lead worker in performing skilled maintenance, repair, dismantling and overhauling of varied equipment. Prepares and maintains files and records. Ensures all safety procedures are in place. Responds to emergencies during and after normal work hours. Performs related tasks as required. Performs skilled maintenance, repair, dismantling and overhauling machinery and equipment:
? Modifies new and existing machinery and equipment to meet standards and enhance operating performance
? Diagnosis of mechanical equipment failures and establishes recovery plan and implements that plan
? Communicates, oral and written, with parts suppliers to secure required products

Prepares and maintains files and records:
? Records all failures of equipment and machinery with action plans employed
? Logs preventative maintenance activities
