Tech Service Specialist
Educational Requirements: HS Diploma required. Technical College Degree preferred. Additional Requirements: Ability to organize and prioritize jobs. Ability to interact and communicate with customers. Job Responsibilities: Act as the source of information on water treatment products that we (Pentair) manufacture and sell. Support our internal and external customers. Assist customers and staff in product problems and applications. Physical & Mental Demands: Extended periods of sitting. Stress due to volume of calls. General Duties: * 1. Promote and sale Everpure equipment in a solution-selling environment. 2. Interact with customer on technical support/application help line to address service and application needs. Assist dealers, distributors, and end-users by selling, promoting, and recommending our products and services. Requires technical knowledge of engineering and cost effectiveness. Render technical advice on customer?s service or product issues and ensure that the customer receives the best possible service. 3. Adept at understanding our customers business. Will have in depth knowledge of filtration Everpure and Costguard products, and general understanding of Fleck controls, Park and Structural tanks as well as the Everpure product line. 4. Perform various technical tasks and analyses. 5. Be able to assist as needed on job sites. 6. Chemistry as well as strong mechanical background would be a plus. 7.
