Pentair Water a leading global provider of innovative products and systems used in the movement, treatment, storage and enjoyment of water, has an immediate need for a Project/Product Design Engineer in Delavan, WI.

The selected candidate will have responsibilities including new product development, product line expansions, product enhancement, overall cost improvements and existing product maintenance. New product development will consist of all phases from conceptualization to final production. This will include initial research and benchmarking, feasibility studies, testing and evaluation, design and prototyping, detailed design, completion of engineering documentation. This will all be conducted in a cross-functional team environment. Responsibilities will also include product enhancement based on new design opportunities or input from key customers.

Candidate must possess a BSME degree from an accredited college and have at least 7 years of related professional experience in product design/project engineering. The candidate must be a hands-on self-starting team player with a solid working knowledge in the fundamentals of solid and fluid mechanics. Must be able to work within, and meet aggressive deadlines. Candidate must be detail and process oriented, have solid organizational skills, be capable of multi-tasking and have strong written and oral communication skills. Possess computer skills including a proficiency in CAD (preferable SolidWorks), MS Office and SAP operating systems. Some domestic and international travel required.
