Sales Manager/ Trainer
Culligan is currently looking for a highly motivated, revenue driven Sales Manager who is a self-starter and will lead by example. As a Sales Manager, you will be expected to provide positive leadership and guide your team toward meeting and exceeding their goals, advise the sales team on self-prospecting, and demonstrating selling and closing techniques. The Sales Manager also develops and implements marketing and advertising strategies for the business unit. Essential Job Duties: Business Performance ? Drive revenue and keep territory fully staffed ? Change tactics and strategy quickly to effectively adapt to unexpected challenges or circumstances ? Seek out best practices from other sales managers ? Grow the business through grass roots lead generation and possess the ability to teach sales representatives to generate leads ? Manage advertising and marketing for branches ? Put in the necessary hours to drive success; do whatever it takes to get the job done ? Personally respond to difficult customer inquires and unusual situations ? Become known in the community through presentations and involvement in local Chamber of Commerce Committees and/or other civic organizations (develop a reputation to enhance referrals) ? Ability to collect, compile, and analyze data with a thorough knowledge of Excel ? All other duties as assigned People Performance ? Manage and support sales representatives at multiple branch locations ? Inspire others to believe that they can do substantially more ? Hold sales representatives accountable for following the sales process and achieving results (monitor progress, provide feedback, reward and recognize success, etc.) ? Train and coach sales representatives on the Culligan sales process ? Perform routine ?Ride Alongs? with sales representatives to assess their performance level and provide necessary training ? Select the right team members and minimize turnover for branch ? Collaborate effectively with other groups ? Conduct weekly sales meetings ? Create and deliver performance reviews Minimum Education Requirements: 4 year Bachelor?s Degree Minimum Work Experience Requirements: 4 years management experience 4 years driving revenue Strong business and financial acumen Ability to motivate others Presentation skills Computer proficiency (Microsoft preferred) Special Knowledge/Skills and/or Abilities: Delegation skills, written and verbal Communication skills, listening skills Certifications/Licenses/Registrations: Valid Drivers License Work Environment/Physical Demands: Job requires approximately equal amounts of time walking up and down stairs, sitting, and standing. Other requirements include the ability to lift 40 LBS, type comfortably, and be able to express/exchange ideas and otherwise communicate with customers and peers. Must wear personal protective equipment as required.
