Regional Sales Manager - Northeast Territory
Additional Requirements: Ability to communicate effectively and work closely with people from a variety of backgrounds and personalities. Working knowledge of Pentair/Everpure marketing philosophy and customer base. Ability to develop and evaluate new product and marketing ideas. Excellent working knowledge of Pentair/Everpure product lines. Job Responsibilities: Work with the Director of Sales to coordinate sales and marketing efforts. Promote and develop new Food Service sales and distribution opportunities. Must work closely with Engineering, Marketing Customer Service, and Operations. Physical & Mental Demands: Appealing and engaging personality with persevering energy. Must travel for required trade shows and customer visits. Working knowledge of basic math skills including computer efficiency. Ability to handle stress. Ability to remain calm and diplomatic even when dealing with irate customers. General Duties: 1. Work with Director of Sales and Account Managers to set and achieve annual sales and marketing budgets. 2. Manages all sales activities and resources with assigned territories/customers to maintain and grow revenue and profitability and Investigate and develop new consumer sales opportunities. 3. Spend time visiting and updating current customers to promote products, and keep customers current on technical information and developments regarding same. 4. Work with Engineering to develop new products. Work with Marketing on support materials and promotional requirements. 5. Stay current on competitive products and Industry developments. 6. Offer solutions to customer problems through technical knowledge of Division?s product lines. 7. Help coordinate Pentair/Evperure?s participation in National and Regional Trade Shows where applicable. 8. Prepare sales projections and monthly highlight report. 9. Serves as a valuable team member of the staff, championing individual special projects, assisting with business planning and forecasting processes, improving business performance, managing company resources and controlling assigned spending budgets. 10. Consistently achieves company-wide strategic sales initiatives including bowling chart objectives and regional sales goals as defined by senior management. 11. Other duties as assigned. 12. Support and maintain nondiscriminatory practices in accordance with the Division Affirmative Action Program. Position can be based anywhere in the Northeastern region of the US w/ easy access to travel / airports. Position requires up to 75% travel.
