Responsible for the evaluation of and continued development of key suppliers to Culligan International. We are continuing to build our supplier resources as we globalize our supply chain. the successful candidate must lead the process of effective resolution of supplied component quality issues as well as ongoing supplier development. The position will work with the Sourcing Operations and the R&D Functions to evaluate potential suppliers with respect to quality system, production capabilities, supply pull system development and other important aspects of the supply chain.

Essential Job Duties:

1. In-charge of all product quality issues from manufacturing, suppliers, or field
2. Review supplier corrective actions to ensure it addresses root cause
3. Coordinate cost-reduction and improvement activities with suppliers
4. Perform product First Article and PPAP evaluations
5. Provide quality data analysis on field returns, supplier yields, and other product and manufacturing characteristics
6. Any other duties as directed by the supervisor

Minimum Education Requirements:

?Require B.S. degree with manufacturing experience
?Engineering or Science degree is desired
?Six Sigma and/or Lean Manufacturing Training is beneficial

Minimum Work Experience Requirements:

?Highly developed communication and negotiation skills
?Strong leadership and facilitation skills
?Problem solving skills including knowledge of root cause analysis and cause-effect techniques
?Experience working in a manufacturing environment
?Experience working with domestic and international suppliers in development of Failure Mode and Effects Analysis, control plan development, quality planning and problem solving.
?Must be capable with all Microsoft Office software
