Seeking an engineer experienced in the design of process-mechanical systems for municipal water and wastewater treatment plants. Work will include providing leadership for teams of engineers and technicians working on water and wastewater design projects.

Job Summary
o Experienced in the detailed design of process-mechanical systems for municipal water and wastewater treatment plants.
o Work will focus in detailed engineering design, working as part of multi-discipline teams of engineers and technicians.
o Typical teamwork products are detailed drawings and specifications, suitable for bidding and construction.
o Work may include hydraulics, pumping systems, piping, treatment process equipment/facilities, chemical feed systems, and the like.
o Work will also include various activities/tasks during project construction.
o If mutually desired, work may also include certain project-specific design team management responsibilities.


Preferred Qualifications:

 BS Degree in Civil-Environmental, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering
 Professional Engineer (PE) or the ability to obtain through reciprocity from another state.
 Experience managing and directing teams of professional staff to deliver projects or tasks.
 Minimum 10-20 years experience in detailed design of process-mechanical facilities for municipal or similar type water and wastewater treatment facilities.
 Experience with interacting with municipal and industrial clients.
 Solid knowledge of the principles, practices, and procedures for design and construction of water and wastewater treatment systems.
 Strong interpersonal and communication skills required.
