We are currently seeking for a full-time Operator to work in our Newport Waste Water Treatment Facility. This person would need to perform work involving the operation and maintenance of the sewage treatment plant, pump stations, sewage collections systems, and CSO facilities. They would also troubleshoot problems, report findings, provide input for corrective actions, and implement corrective actions.

Requirements for this position include a high school diploma or equivalent. Candidate must be able to work various shifts and overtime as needed. Position requires a candidate who has a RI Grade I Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator’s Certificate or can obtain one within one year.
