We are currently seeking a talented Operations Specialist to join our organization.

Responsible for the operation and maintenance of a 5.5 mgd activated sludge plant, 62 miles of collection system lines that includes 22 lift stations. Also included are 3 storm water pumping stations. Applicant must have good mechanical, reading, math writing verbal communication and basic computer skills.


Illinois Class IV wastewater certification is required or the ability to obtain this certification within 1 year of employment. An Illinois Class B CDL with tanker and air brake endorsement is required within 90 days of employment. Must maintain residency no more than 30 minutes from Bensenville WWTF within the first 90 days of employment. The employee will work a rotating weekend shift and will be subject to be on-call 24/7 on a scheduled rotating basis.
