We have an immediate opening for Process Improvement Manager to be an instrumental team player and leader in driving the process improvement breakthrough strategy throughout the company.

This manager functions as a change agent, tool mentor, coach, facilitator and project manager for business unit leaders and associates. Understands and communicates ?the voice of the customer? (externally & internally) in defining & establishing quality and process improvement priorities. Clear, candid and persuasive in written and oral communication. Provides project management for key transformational and operational excellence initiatives, stimulates thinking by posing new ways of doing things, changes conventional wisdom and develops others. Assess, evaluate, and identify productivity opportunities, develop project plans and lead teams to implement and drive results. Will develop training material and conduct training as required on the principles of Six Sigma, Lean techniques, quality principles and process improvement.

Requirements
? 2-4 years business experience in business operations, manufacturing, warehouse/logistics/distribution or engineering positions
? A minimum of 1+ years in process and continuous improvement role
BS in Engineering, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering or other equivalent technical field, MBA or advanced degree a plus
? Demonstrated project management skills.
? Strong quantitative & analytical skills; comfortable with statistics, MINITAB, other similar software programs
? Experience with ISO best practices. Lead Auditor certification is a big plus
? Team builder, dedicated to individual and organizational team development
? Strong computer skills in PowerPoint, Excel, Access required
? Ability to manage, lead and be led in a matrix managed environment
? Experience with the converting manufacturing business is a plus

? Special Skills Required:
Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing experience; Certified Black Belt preferred.
Experience in the following tools/disciplines: 5S, visual work place, mistake proofing, Poke Yoke, Voice of the Customer , Operational Definitions, Control Plans, Control Charts, Total Productive Maintenance, Statistical Process Control (SPC), Rolled Throughput Yield, Pull Systems, Theory of Constraints, FMEA, Regression Analysis, Hypothesis Testing, Design of Experiments, Value Stream Mapping, SIPOC, Cause & Effect Matrix (C&E), QFD
