Latin American Sales Manager (multiple positions)
These positions are responsible for sales of selected Pentair Water Latin America customers of one of the following product groups: Filtration, Water Treatment, Commercial Pool, Municipal Pump, Residential Pump, and Agricultural Pump. The person in each of these positions will identify and pursue opportunities to grow sales profitably through professional account management, negotiation, fostering customer relationships and trust, assisting in the development and implementation of marketing programs, and delivering upon loyalty building services. Each position involves the attainment of assigned projects from senior management and the achievement of objective metrics. QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION OR DEGREE REQUIRED: Bachelor?s Degree in Sales, Marketing, or Engineering required. LICENSE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED/PREFERRED: Certified Water Specialist (WQA) level III (softening, filtration, Deionization) beneficial RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: ?Minimum of 7 years experience in Sales, Marketing or Customer Service capacities. ?Minimum of 5 years experience in the water industry, preferably in water applications and technical background. ?Minimum of 5 years experience in or with the Latin American region. ?Spanish language fluency. ?Significant experience in senior account sales management. SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: ?Proven success working in field sales and in growing sales ?Proven adept at promoting ideas and proposals and persuasively negotiating win/win solutions. ?Demonstrate strong achievement orientation, capable of pursuing through difficult assignments and setting high personal standards for self and others. ?Customer focused, ensuring customer promises are delivered upon and fosters a climate of trust and cooperation between Pentair Water and our customers. ?Capable of implementing compelling business/sales plans to take advantage of marketplace opportunities. ?Proven communication skills both orally and in writing with internal colleagues and customers. Adept at interacting positively and with confidence in face-to-face customer settings. Adept and preparing and presenting Powerpoint presentations. ?Proven adept at understanding our customers? business, gathering knowledge of their needs and expectations and offering creative solutions to gain competitive advantage. ?Capable of developing sound sales plans using key financial indicators and statistical analysis to evaluate options and opportunities. ?Able to work well independently. ?Adept at computer based communications and analysis including Internet, E-commerce, Excel, Powerpoint, Word, ERP and CRM software.
