I & C Engineer

This is for a global engineering and science company that was listed by Fortune Magazine in January 2006 as one of the 100 best U.S. companies to work for.

This position will be responsible for design of facility control systems and SCADA projects. May act as lead engineer for SCADA and facility/process automation projects. Drawing preparation will include P&ID's, loop drawings, and detailed wiring diagrams. Design will include configuration of PLC and HMI system control programming, facility start up of PLC and HMI system programs.

Basic Qualifications:

BS degree in Electrical or Instrumentation and Control Systems Engineering

Possesses or capable of obtaining professional registration (PE) as an Electrical Engineer and/or Control Systems Engineer in Illinois.

Strong knowledge of instrumentation and digital control systems.

8 years experience in producing detailed design documents and design and programming of PLC and HMI Systems and communications systems for Water and Waste Water Treatment Plants.

Preferred Qualifications :

BS degree Electrical or Instrumentation and Control Systems Engineering.

Professional Engineer (PE) Registration as an Electrical Engineer and/or Control Systems Engineer in Illinois.

Other programming experience such as Visual Basic, SQL and Database applications important.
