ARS Direct is currently seeking a Grade 5 Wastewater Operator for their client in Warren, RI.

Position Summary
Responsible for the efficient and accurate operation of Warren, RI Wastewater treatment facility. First shift position, evening and weekend work as required.

Responsibilities include:
Grade 5 Waste Water Operator for the company clam processing facility to include:
* Perform state required Wastewater testing for the RI facility, to include BOD?s, TSS, Discharge Temps and Chemical discharge concentration.
* Chemical treatment experience, PH control and particulate separation technology.
* Biological experience, enzyme and bacteria control.
* Responsible for Regulatory management and interaction with DEM, EPA and Town officials.
* Diagnose and repair minor equipment problems.
* Monitor daily activities using established methods.
* Identify continuous improvement opportunities.
* Communicate quickly and effectively with production and management personnel.

Successful candidate will be mechanically inclined with ability to operate, diagnose and repair minor problems associated with equipment. Will possess above average mathematic skills, as well as familiarity with computers applications. Must be detail oriented with above average organizational skills. Self motivated, possess high energy, and have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to interact in a dynamic team environment while displaying tact and diplomacy with peers and management.

Education/Work Experience: Grade 5 Waste Water License and 5 years experience in Wastewater treatment.
