Daily operations of the water treatment plant, with iron removal and sequestering.

Responsible for the following functions:

1. Daily check of all wells.

2. Daily check of all chemical feed pumps.

3. Daily check of all chemical solutions.

4. Operation of green sand filters.

5. Batching of chemicals.

6. Meter readings on a quarterly basis.

7. Field maintenance (meter leaks, main line breaks, customer complaints, line flushing, etc.)

8. Customer disconnects.
Checking sewage lift stations
*Repairs on sewage lift stations
*Troubleshoot grinder pumps
*Repair/replace grinder pumps
*Do service orders
*Miss Utility line location markings
*Sewage collection system I & I investigations
*Other duties as deemed appropriate by Area Manager or his designee


9. Daily checking of sewage lift stations and repairs as needed.
10. Troubleshoot grinder pumps including repairs/replacement.
11 Other duties as deemed appropriate by Area Manager

SPECIAL EDUCATIONAL OR REGISTRATION QUALIFICATIONS:

High School diploma or possession of a GED Certificate. A Class IV Virginia water operator?s license is required.
