As a Commercial Sales Representative, you will be responsible for selling water treatment applications to commercial customers in a straightforward and truthful manner. This role is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with customers, providing ongoing support and handling service issues.

Our Commercial Sales Division provides systems and services that increase efficiency, reduce cost and improve the quality of drinking and product water. Our industries include but are not limited to: Schools, Restaurants, Hotels, Senior Centers, Manufacturing, Car Washes, Office Buildings, Hospitals, etc.

Responsibilities include growing the existing customer base, prospecting on local businesses and new construction projects, following up on incoming sales leads, researching new building projects, bidding on projects, establishing and maintaining a professional relationship with engineers, contractors, construction managers, and business owners and operators. Business-to-Business cold calling is required!

Culligan?s Commercial Sales Representatives use a consultative, customer-focused sales approach that sets Culligan apart from our competition. Culligan?s solutions include a variety of product offerings: water conditioning, water softening reverse osmosis, bottle-less coolers, deionized services, parts and repairs and service contracts. Culligan provides customers flexible financing with purchase, rental or lease options

Prior sales experience in an industrial or business-to-business situation is required. Familiarity with water treatment is preferred, but not required. Must be a self-starter with initiative, intuition and be familiar with consultative selling skills. Computer skills on most Microsoft Office applications are required. Must be able to produce self-generated sales each month and be well organized. A strong work ethic, the ability to work independently or as a team and a burning desire to succeed. Strong business knowledge, professional presentation skills, and excellent problem solving abilities. The commission-focused sales professional generally is the most successful. BS in Science or Engineering is a plus.
