An Engineering Firm in Kansas City is looking for a civil or mechanical CAD technician. This person should be able to prepare design drawings using AutoCAD based on sketches and direction received from senior technician or engineer. The person should also be able to perform engineering calculations using standard equations under the direction of an engineer and assist with material takeoffs for cost estimating. The candidate must be interested in doing work with above ground process piping, below grade water and wastewater pipe as well as drafting for civil site work.

This position is contract to hire.
